The Leap of Faith

leap of faith

Can you trust yourself enough?

Can you trust the All enough?

Can you trust that you are surrounded by loving hands?

Ready to catch you if you fall?

Dear One, can you believe in yourself and in the All enough to take that leap of faith? For it is the next step on your journey. And truth be told, Dear One, you will not fall. Instead, you will rise, gently but steadily as you allow fear to fall from your shoulders. It has been the weight around your neck, holding you back from your next destination, that of self-empowerment and love.

You have been on this journey many years and many of you are tired and confused. You feel as if your life has been without purpose, when nothing is further from the truth. For you do not see yourself from our vantage point, as we cheer you on with each forward step you take. Oh, Dearest One, do not stop now when you are so close to achieving your next wondrous success on this personal journey you are taking.

Review your life and allow those moments of joy, buried under the mounds of self-criticism, to surface once again. Allow the note of a song, a glimpse of nature, a taste or a touch, to take you back to that forgotten moment of joy you experienced. There are many of them, you know. But they are lost in the chaos of self-deprecation and self-judgment.

Take a moment and remember. Allow your mind to be free and open yourself up to those times which brought you joy. Do this often as you continue your journey of remembrance of who you really are, a being of joy and love. Yes, there are wounds experienced along the way. But how can you reach out to others who are wounded, if you do not understand how it feels to be wounded yourself? Consider them badges of resilience in a world of duality and suffering.

It begins with you, Dear One, and how you view your life. Can you forgive, be grateful for the lesson and move on? Can you bathe those wounds in the nectar of love and see the light begin to shine forth through them? You cannot have compassion for others if you refuse to give it to yourself. For those in your life are but a reflection of you, a wounded soul courageous enough to continue the journey. Now supported by the knowledge learned from those experiences, stronger than ever, resilient and humbled.

You have come this far and are capable of soaring high above your greatest aspirations. Do not limit yourself in what you think is possible. For the possibilities are far grander than you can fathom. Take that leap of faith, without expectation, only with love, and see where it takes you. This physical existence is an adventure in possibilities. And yes, you have the choice of taking the path of love or the path of fear. Which do you choose?

You cannot be certain of the outcome of any step that you take. The only certainty is that it will move your forward on your journey of self-discovery. Do you have the courage to surrender and cease the old patterns of behavior which have not served you? Embrace the opportunities laid before you to help you shed the heavy cloaks of fear. For indeed, the cloaks did not protect you, they only covered the light that shines from within.

Allow the light, that brilliant light within, to shine, through your badges of resilience, through every pore of your body. Allow others to see your wounds, your vulnerabilities, and they will recognize a kindred spirit on a path similar to their own. Be at one with those who cross your path. They are there for a reason, Dear One. Love them without hesitation, as we encourage you to love yourself.

Call upon us and look for our help, our reply, in the synchronous experiences in your life. Remember that we come to you in ways to which you would be most receptive, in ways that are the least threatening to you. And many are our messengers, being the presence in your life that is needed at this very moment. See us in everyone around you. See us in the mirror reflecting back to you. Loving beings filled with light and joy.

Do not seek certainty, for it will never come. Instead, have faith that the choice you make is Divinely inspired to place you exactly where you need to be next; as a messenger, as a recipient of a message, or both. For remember that you play many roles in this life and each one is necessary for the forward movement of the All.

Uncertainty and Self Doubt

Do you wait for complete certainty

Before you act or speak?

Upon reflection, do you question

if you did or said the right thing?

Is absolute certainty necessary for forward movement?

Dear One, this physical plane is a ground for learning and self-discovery. You came here to learn how to be in a world entirely different from where you came. Instead of an atmosphere of unconditional love, you are finding your way in a world of dualities, where your inner-connectedness is more difficult to see.

Moving forward can be difficult when you are not sure if the next step you take is the right step; if you are not sure if the actions you already took were the best choices. Indecision can prevent you from taking any action at all. Self-doubt can cause regret and uncertainty of events past.

Understand that any new situation is providing you an opportunity for growth. When you stay within the circle of familiarity, you are operating out of habit. In fact, you may not even be conscious of certain actions. You need not engage because you have done the same thing so often before.

Think of how often you travel to a familiar destination and once there have no memory of the journey. Since you have done this so many times before, your mind, your thoughts, can be miles away, in the future or in the past, anywhere but in the present moment. And yet you arrive safely.

For this reason, changing your routine, stepping outside of your comfort zone, is necessary for growth. Be it a new environment, new acquaintances, or a new way of moving through familiar territory, all of these are conditions for growth. Do you chastise a young child for exploring new avenues, stretching their physical limits, or exploring new ways of expressing themselves?

A child does not wait for a time of complete certainty nor does she reflect upon actions with self-doubt. Quite the opposite, she is excited to be exploring the possibilities for new ways of being. But, you say, this child needs to learn to be cautious to avoid injury or hurt. And so, you keep a watchful eye to assure safety during her self-exploration.

How is that child different from you? Are you not a child of the Universe? Are you not surrounded by loving guides who are here to help guide you as you move forward? Can you move forward with more faith, in yourself and your connection to the All; with faith in the guidance you receive every moment of your day?

There can be no mistakes made here upon this plane. There are only opportunities for growth. And often the lesson is one of forgiveness, humility or non-judgment. These are lessons many of you came here to learn. Or perhaps the lesson is one of self-love, empowerment or neutrality. Any potential lesson will be difficult to learn if you hesitate to act without perfection; seeking it in yourself or others. If this physical plane offered perfection it would not be the wondrous place of learning that it is.

You might try on a different way of being and realize that it is not the right way to be. Lesson learned.  You might take a chance and speak out in a way you never have before and be amazed at the results. Lesson learned. Or you might approach another who you perceive as much different from yourself and realize the similarities in your lives. Lesson learned.

Dear One, do not hide behind a façade of familiarity and safety. Where is the growth in living a life of repetition and hesitation? Have faith in yourself and in your guides who are with you at all times. Spend quiet time with them so that you can begin to better trust the connections you have with the All.

Act with pure intent. And in times of reflection, think of the lessons provided to you over the course of your day. The moment of absolute certainty about a particular decision may never come. But you can still make a choice and embrace the lesson it provides you.

There are no wrong paths, for all paths move you forward and back to the Source. All paths.

Be like that child on a journey of adventure and self-exploration and stretch. And whatever the lessons learned, be they lessons of humility, forgiveness or self-empowerment, offer gratitude for them. And continue forward.

Be bold, be the courageous soul that you are.

Trust that we are here with you always.

And call upon us, for we are here to help and guide you.

Dear One, Dear One With All of Thee.
