An Imagined Letter from COV-ID 19 to Humans

Dear Ones, I received this Imagined Letter from a friend recently. I found it to be very powerful and wanted to share it with you. Life is changing and will most likely change more before we reach the other end. But there is still much joy in the world. The beauty of spring/fall, the joy of breathing, living, loving. Viewing the world around you through a different lens can make such a difference. Please understand that you are not a single entity here alone on an island. You are part of a wondrous whole which is changing. And as the whole changes, so must we. Close your eyes and go within for strength. Open your eyes and look at this world in all of its splendor. We will get through this and always have help just a breath away.

Om Mani Padme Hum

(which means Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus ) Repeat this phrase  OM MAH-NEE PUD-MAY HOOM in powers of three, up to 33 times, and you will connect with all who ever recited it.

Blessings to All, Celine

An Imagined Letter from COVID-19 to Humans

Stop. Just stop. It is no longer a request. It is a mandate. We will help you. We will bring the supersonic, high speed merry-go-round to a halt. We will stop the planes the trains the schools the malls the meetings the frenetic, furied rush of illusions and “obligations” that keep you from hearing our single and shared beating heart, the way we breathe together, in unison.

Our obligation is to each other, As it has always been, even if, even though, you have forgotten. We will interrupt this broadcast, the endless cacophonous broadcast of divisions and distractions, to bring you this long-breaking news: We are not well. None of us; all of us are suffering. Last year, the firestorms that scorched the lungs of the earth did not give
you pause. Nor the typhoons in Africa,China, Japan. Nor the fevered climates in Japan and India.

You have not been listening. It is hard to listen when you are so busy all the time, hustling to uphold the comforts and conveniences that scaffold your lives. But the foundation is giving way, buckling under the weight of your needs and desires.

We will help you. We will bring the firestorms to your body We will bring the fever to your body We will bring the burning, searing, and flooding to
your lungs that you might hear: We are not well.

Despite what you might think or feel, we are not the enemy.
We are Messenger. We are Ally. We are a balancing force.

We are asking you: To stop, to be still, to listen; To move beyond your individual concerns and consider the concerns of all; To be with your ignorance, to find your humility, to relinquish your thinking minds and travel deep into the mind of the heart; To look up into the sky, streaked with fewer planes, and see it, to notice its condition: clear, smoky, smoggy, rainy?

How much do you need it to be healthy so that you may also be healthy? To look at a tree, and see it, to notice its condition: how does its health contribute to the health of the sky, to the air you need to be healthy? To visit a river, and see it, to notice its condition: clear, clean, murky, polluted? How much do you need it to be healthy so that you may also be healthy? How does its health contribute to the health of the tree, who contributes to the health of the sky, so that
you may also be healthy?

Many are afraid now. Do not demonize your fear, and also, do not let it rule you. Instead, let it speak to you—in your stillness, listen for its wisdom. What might it be telling you about what is at work, at issue, at risk, beyond the threats of personal inconvenience and illness? As the health of a tree, a river, the sky tells you about quality of your own health, what might the quality of your health tell you about the health of the rivers, the trees, the sky, and all of us who share this planet with you?

Stop. Notice if you are resisting. Notice what you are resisting. Ask why.
Stop. Just stop.

Be still. Listen.

Ask us what we might teach you about illness and healing, about what might be required so that all may be well. We will help you, if you listen.

A Personal Note on the Holidays

The holiday season is here, celebrated in many different ways, with many different traditions. Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas and others less well known, but not any less important. I felt very compelled to celebrate the Solstice this year by honoring Mother Earth, joining others across the world as we all offered our contributions to peace and to the sacred. And last night the full moon shared her beauty as the night sky was as bright as day, illuminated by the powerful reflection of the moon’s light.

Have we forgotten to see the beauty that surrounds us? Especially at this time of year, when so many are rushing around trying to find the perfect gifts, planning the perfect meals or presenting the perfect holiday parties as we all gather together with high expectations for these outcomes. Because of my gifts, I can feel the anxieties of others as they scurry about trying to live up to the advertiser’s portrayal of the perfect holiday gathering.

I think about those who have nowhere to go, perhaps have no home or money to even participate. How must they feel at this time of year? Yes, there are avenues for giving to those who have less and many are generous with their time and their money to help others. And I honor the generosity of those who reach out to lift up others this time of year.

But once again, I question how we focus so much on physical giving rather than honoring the sacredness of life. Not only the lives of those we love, but the life of the Mother, who gives to us daily without charge. Can we begin to offer gratitude for all the gifts we have received in order to even live our lives here upon this physical plane? I think of climate change, deforestation, pollution and the pervasive fear of lack and feel we can do a better job of honoring the Mother.

This is a time of awakening and change and I know that many of you are feeling it, even though you may not be conscious of exactly what is happening to you. For those of you who are facing challenges in your personal life at this time, I repeat what I am told so often, that you are not alone because you are connected to all of creation. This includes your connection to the Mother and all of her creatures.

Life is sacred, all of life. And I encourage you to live your life authentically and with that personal power we so often give away to others. The physical possessions we own do not matter as much as the love that surrounds us. We have so much to give and I hope that you can give and accept love in your daily life. Often the quiet, unassuming actions of generosity and love go unnoticed. Look around you and share from that deep reservoir of love which exists within you.

Holiday traditions are wonderful and can be a part of life to which we look forward every year. I know that I have many fond memories of family traditions throughout my life. But please know that love is the basis of our existence. Honor the love that surrounds you, love that comes from those around you, from the Mother and from the unseen world.

The pendulum of life has swung far to the side of fear and it is time to begin to bring it back to center. It is possible and is occurring as many are quietly doing their part to eradicate fear and bring peace back into our way of life.

You are a part of this awakening and I ask you to take time to give gratitude for all that has been given to you. Share your loving nature with others and most importantly with yourself. For you have come so far and have so much further to go on your personal journey.

If you need some quiet time to reflect and replenish, then do so.

If you feel the need to change your traditions because they no longer serve you, then do so.

If you are feeling alone and forgotten, please know that you are not.

We are in this together, this human existence and love will move us forward and see us through.

I send out my love to each and every one of you in hopes that you can feel the joy of life every day of your existence. And I offer my gratitude to all of you for what you are doing to change this world.

Thank you for allowing me this space to ramble and reflect. And thank you for continuing to follow this blog.

I wish you all peace and joy and a gentle path forward. May we all do what we can to honor each other and the Mother.

With deepest love

Celine
