The Breath of the Divine

The air you breathe

Is the breath of the Divine.

Merging with your own divinity

With every inhalation.

One with the Divine

One with all of creation.

Dear One, when you feel alone and disconnected, just breathe. Close your eyes, inhale the breath of the Divine, and feel it merge with every cell of your body. Allow it to awaken your own divinity, that flame of love, which burns so brightly deep within your being.

Feel that spark of love grow stronger with each breath as your own divinity merges with that of the Divine. Continue to breathe as the Divinity without mixes with the Divinity within to the point where there is no separation. A coming home, as your sense of your physical body fades and all that remains is the breath that connects you with all of life, with all of creation. Breathe and connect and remember who you really are, One With All of Thee.

This physical plane creates the illusion of separateness, the physical body seeming to contain only one person, you. When in fact, with every breath that you take during the day, you are exchanging the breath of the Divine, your breath, with all of creation.

The air you breathe is that same air breathed by nature, by the great masters, by all who ever existed and continue to exist here upon this physical plane. It is your breath which connects you. Do not accept the illusion of separation any longer. It is impossible, for you are One.

As you consider this exchange of the sacred, with every breath that you take, also consider how the words you use travel out into infinity, affecting all of creation. So too, with your thoughts which are energetic exchanges. For some this concept is difficult to grasp, so we give you the visual of the breath, which is the same as the exchange of energy which occurs every moment of your day.

Life in this world can be difficult, especially when you feel alone and forgotten, when the challenges you face seem so insurmountable. This is why you are often told to just stop and take a breath to calm yourself.

We give you today the reason why taking a few deep breaths has such a calming effect on you. It helps facilitate the exchange of the sacredness within and without your physical being.

Dear One, it is time for you to realize how sacred all of life is, for each life created has a piece of the Divine within. Just as you leave a part of yourself in every creation of your own, be it through art or music, writing or gardening. Understand that within each of your creations, you embed a part of yourself which remains long after you have completed its birth.

So too, has the Divine, the Source, shared a part of Itself with you, in your creation, as in all of life as you see it. Change your perspective and begin to see how all of life is sacred. Everything you see is sacred and all are sustained by the breath of the Divine.

There is no hierarchy, for all are equal in their sacredness, all are seen as one. It is time for you to walk in this truth and treat all you encounter with love and respect. For all are a part of the Divine.

Reflect upon this truth as your world moves forward in this time of awakening. Hold onto this truth as you move through any challenges which may come your way.

The longing which you feel is for the remembrance of who you really are. There is a part of you who remembers a time without this physical world, a time when your connection with the All was clearer to you.

This is one of the challenges of this physical existence; to remember the whole despite the illusion of separateness. It is possible and more are awakening to this truth as their memories are stirred into action.

When you are unsure, take the time to just stop and breathe. Breathe in the breath of the Divine. A simple exercise which can be done anytime, anywhere. A constant connection with All of Creation which you have just forgotten.

Remember, Dear One,

The sacredness of life,

Of your life

And that of all of creation.

You are connected with it all

You are One,

One With All of Thee.

Hurricane Florence

My Dear Readers

I live in central North Carolina and so will feel the effects of hurricane Florence very soon. That means I may lose power for a week or longer. If this happens, I won’t be doing a post on Sunday. This will be the first time that I haven’t done a weekly post since the inception of this blog in September 2011. But in the event that I cannot get a post out, I wanted to give you two different tools to use in times of chaos. These are not my tools, but ones I learned from elsewhere and forgive me for not having the sources at hand to share with you.

First, if you are feeling stressed or anxious, you can do this exercise which will help calm you. This is from the tapping community.

  1. Sit or lie comfortably.
  2. Cross your left ankle over your right ankle.
  3. Extend your arms out in front of you and place the backs of your hands together.
  4. Cross your right hand over your left hand so that you can now clasp your hands together. If done correctly, you now have your right wrist laying on top of your left wrist.
  5. Now rotate your clasped hands under and up to your chest. Elbows are down and your clasped hands are close to your heart area.
  6. Gently allow your tongue to rest on the roof of your mouth.
  7. Now just breathe and enjoy the hug that you are giving yourself.

A dear friend showed me this and I do it often especially if I cannot fall asleep at night due to a racing mind. It works with the energetic meridians in your body.

Second, this is a meditation to help you overcome your fears.

  1. Close your eyes and think about a fear that you have.
  2. See it in your mind’s eye and answer these questions:
  3. What does your fear look like?
  4. What shape is it?
  5. How tall or wide is it?
  6. Does it have a texture?
  7. What color is it?
  8. Does it have a smell?
  9. Take a good look at it.
  10. Then wipe the slate clear and start this process all over again, once again seeing your fear and answering the same questions. Then wipe the slate clear.
  11. Repeat this process at least 6 times or until your fear has transformed or disappeared.

The point of this exercise is to see your fear. Because once you really look at your fear, you will realize that it is not as powerful as you once thought. This exercise came from one of my shaman friends and again, I apologize that I don’t have the source at hand.

I hope that one or both of these will help you in the coming days. We all can do our part to counteract the fear in this world with love. But it begins with each of us working on our own stuff. And the more balanced each of us can be, the better we can serve the world.

Dear One, so many of you complain of how many things you have to do in such a short period of time. You speak of your ‘task lists’ and how long they are with more items added daily. There is almost an unspoken pride in how busy you are. The art of just being has been replaced with frenetic activity and worry.

It is time to restore the balance and reassess the true priorities in your life. For the human condition causes you to move to and fro in a frenzy, sacrificing integrity and grace to just ‘get things done.’ Ego comes into play when you decide that things must be done this way and in this time frame, rather than letting life flow gently and smoothly in Universal time.

Dear One, we have mentioned the web of connection and how there are energetic fields working to move your evolution forward. You are unable to see the larger picture from your perspective and so focus only on your one piece of the mosaic. When in fact, there is a forward movement despite what you believe. The web of connection is in constant motion moving forward, pulling here, slacking there to embrace all of creation in the Universal dance of grace and love.

By focusing only on your portion of the mosaic, thinking it is the ONLY part that you play in the ascension, you become judgmental, of yourself and others. For you haven’t done enough, you haven’t done it fast enough, you haven’t done it properly. The list of recriminations goes on and on.

It is time for you to stop and breathe. Stop and take a moment to remember the steps of the Universal Dance. You know them. For they are housed within you, awaiting your physical mind to quiet so they can emerge in joyful abandon.

You have forgotten how to flow, like water, from one moment to the next. You have forgotten how each segment of your life is connected; that when one segment is out of balance, it affects all other aspects of your life. Stop, sit, breathe and reflect. The world will not end if you do not accomplish these items on your list to be completed today.

You, Dear One, are a child of the Universe, gently and completely loved by the All That Is. Can you stop winding yourself tighter and tighter in the web until you are hopelessly bound and unable to do anything? Instead, begin to trust that all is happening as it should, in all aspects of your life.

Can you begin to focus solely on the task at hand and not attempt to do multiple tasks at once? Can you allow the gifts of abundance to naturally flow in your direction by being open to the help and guidance that is always there for you? Can you sit for a moment and breathe, trusting that you are not alone in this physical adventure of human existence?

The point of this life is to achieve personal growth through awakening to your true self, to the connection you have with all of creation. Remember the steps to the Universal dance and take a moment to allow your spirit, your soul, to flow in that universal stream of music and love.

When your life seems not to be working at all, it is time to stop and begin again. But not before you take a moment for gratitude, for honoring yourself for how far you have already come. You have made it this far, Dear One, and you have much further to go. Your glow increases every day as you begin to move forward in grace.

Acknowledge the connection you have to the All. And call for help when needed. Remember that no matter how you define success, you are awakening in the most perfect way. You are a child of the Universe. Play with that. Dance and pause when necessary to replenish yourself.

You are not an automaton.

You are a divine being in a physical body.

This segment of your journey is temporary

And yet will provide you

With much knowledge and personal growth.

Trust, in yourself

And in the perfect flow of the All of Creation.

You are a part of this.

For you are indeed

One With All of Thee.

How do you get through the trials of life?

How do you place one foot ahead of the other

And take another step forward?

How do you trust that it is actually a step forward

And not a step backward?

By having faith in yourself

And in your connection to the All.

Dear One, life on this physical plane can be very challenging. That is why this is a more powerful learning ground than most other possibilities. The physical body is fragile, though very functional. Human emotions come into play and you must acknowledge them without always acting upon them. And the mere act of being incarnated in a physical body gives the illusion of being alone. This is a challenge for the very best of you.

You have been told by many, including us, that meditation helps ease the weight of your perceived expectations of yourself and others. And yet, even in meditation, there is self-judgment for not being able to quiet the mind, as you feel you must during this practice. You feel pulled in so many directions with multiple tasks to do with limited time and resources. How do you move forward in grace and faith?

Dear One, the first step is to temper the self-expectations of your life needing to follow a certain path. Setting personal goals is a good practice, but those goals often do not include the energetic input from others. This illusion of being alone causes you to think that reaching your goals is determined only by your input and affects only you. When in reality, the web of connection sends and receives energies constantly across realms.

Can you, instead, move forward with faith that the result of your efforts is in perfect harmony with the All? Not reaching your personal goal does not define failure, for you have continued with forward movement. It could instead have allowed time for you to reassess, to reach out or connect with others. Or it may have provided a powerful lesson for you or for another.

You are in constant touch with many others, even though your physical body may appear geographically isolated. For this reason, you are affected by and also affect others in ways not within your conscious awareness. The result of your efforts may have placed you in exactly the perfect position to take your next step.

And when you take that next step, can you take it in faith and in gratitude? Can you understand that much of that self-judgment is only Ego ready to pounce and instill fear of failure within your psyche?

Dear One, can you allow yourself to flow from one task to another with the same ease that you move from one breath to another? Can you flow like water through your day, with a gentleness, filling the void which requires your energies at this very moment of time? Each moment may be different, have different needs for your presence, but can be reached with a fluid motion, with the grace of the flow of water. No rush, no judgment, just gentle movement forward throughout your day.

Step lightly, feel your foot connect with the ground upon which you walk. Breathe deeply and feel your connection with the air which fills your lungs. Stop and listen, pause and see what exists around you. Understand that your pause may have allowed another to take a step forward in the universal dance of being.

Dear One, take the time to bless yourself and your physical body for being able to reach this particular moment in time. Reflect upon how far you have come and trust that you will continue to move forward with gentle moves, sometimes with giant leaps, but always forward.

Release the need to have total control over your life. That is impossible because of the web of connection with the All That Is. Indeed, you have free will, always. But keep in mind the energetic vibrations which surround you at all times. If you feel that they are bringing you down, then move away from them, be it what you watch or read for entertainment or in your immediate environment with those around you.

As you continue to grow, you will become more aware of the changes of energetic vibrations around you and how you are affected by them. Allow yourself to gently flow to and fro, in between moments of action and rest. Allow this balance to be a part of your life.

You have so much to offer.

You have accomplished so much already.

And you have many more moments

Of joy and peace ahead.

 

Breathe deeply

Step lightly

And go forward with grace

With trust and with faith

In yourself and in the All.

Dear One, the life you live here upon this physical plane is but a gift of learning and expansion. See it not as anything but an opportunity to learn, to feel, to experience possibilities unknown across other realms. You have the opportunity to grow in a manner that is not possible anywhere else in the Universe.

The greatest lesson for you has been the misperception of being alone, as these physical bodies cause a feeling of separateness from the All. But the time is now for you to begin to understand your connectedness with the All That Is; to look beyond this physical realm into the great expansion of being, of love.

Have you contemplated what will occur when you shed your physical body at the end of your time here upon this physical plane? Who are you without this physical body? Do you still exist and where do you go? There are many beliefs among you and our intention is not to discredit any of them. For your beliefs mold your journey and direct you on your path.

We just ask you to consider what existence would be without this physical body. Can you even begin to fathom that possibility? You, Dear One, are an eternal being, with many lifetimes in many different realms, using many different tools for learning. On this physical plane, your body is but a tool for learning and nothing more.

There are many beings who have never inhabited a physical body. Many of your religions talk about this. And there is a curiosity of what a physical existence would entail. You are the adventurous one who chose the gift of incarnation into this physical realm. With all of its challenges, it also contains many joys encompassing all the physical senses.

We tell you this because the time is now for you to look beyond the physical nature of your existence. The connections you have with those in other realms are becoming stronger as you begin to spend time in meditation, in reflection and in love. For love is the tie that connects all, that empowers you and overcomes fear. Love is what enables and strengthens the connection you have with the All.

Consider the gift of this incarnation unrealized by so many souls. Understand the impermanence of this time in the physical realm and the opportunities to learn and grow. Yes, there is pain and suffering, but you have survived so much of it and have gained such strength and self-realization through it. The possibilities for growth are so much greater here than in many other planes of existence.

How are you recognized? Not through your physical frame, but by your energetic signature. You all have it and will maintain this throughout eternity. Begin your day with a tone, a single tone is all that is required. This acts as a beacon across the universe, a homing signal to tell us where you are. A vocalization of your energetic signature travels across realms as your personal song. Do this every morning upon awakening to connect with those in the seen and the unseen worlds. Consider it as the howling of the wolves bringing the pack together. For now is the time for all of us to work together to raise the vibrations here upon this physical plane.

Dear One. It is time to swing the pendulum back from where it has swung into the direction of love and connection. It is not every man for himself. That is impossible and only a product of seeing the physical body as the only nature of existence. Do not allow the human mind to enslave you. Instead, allow your heart connection to lead you forward en masse with all the others who are now awakening.

Do not diminish your growth, your strength and how far you have come. Tone your energetic signature and connect with others who do the same. You are not alone. You have never been alone and the time is now for you to consciously join hearts with others across realms.

Open your heart to the possibilities of love. Sing your song daily and connect in love to All. Give gratitude for this physical existence and reflect upon the strength you gained getting to this very moment in time.

You, Dear One, are more than you think.

How You See Your World?

Do not forget the power that lies within you.

The power to see a world of strength and love

Or a wounded world filled with chaos and strife.

Which do you choose to support with your vision?

Dear One, as your world continues to change in its forward movement you have a choice as how you approach the coming days. You can focus on the negativity, the chaos and the suffering. Or, you can raise the vibration by seeing it in growth towards a loving end.

We have told you before how powerful your thoughts are as the veil between worlds continues to fade and you continue to grow. With each passing day, you personally become stronger and closer to the Source. You are being given choices on how to move forward. And it is in these choices that you begin to spread your wings and fly.

Dear One, remember that your world can be seen in many different ways. Just consider the differences in opinion that occur over the description of one event. Many see it as positive while an equal number will see it as negative. This is where the growth occurs, as you have been given free choice as how to move through this holographic world of existence.

Your thoughts send out energy into your surroundings. They can affect others just as others can affect you with the thoughts they send out into the universe. Those of you who are sensitive are already very much aware of this concept. But many others may not understand the power of this exchange.

When you see something or someone broken, requiring healing, you continue to hold that event, that person, in a lower negative light, in a lower vibration. This continues to support a static condition, unchanged in its negativity.

Can you instead, see that person, that situation, as positive, as whole, not requiring healing but only loving support, as growth continues to move this person or event forward? If you can view all before you as whole and already healed then you are supporting positive growth by helping to keep their energetic vibration high.

This is why sending love, walking in love rather than fear, will support the growth of this physical plane, of the entire Universe. Although you continue to see the world through your physical senses, what you see this way is an illusion. The reality of your existence is within your energetic vibrations. This is where the strength, the power lies.

We understand that it can be difficult for you to accept the power of what for many is an unseen force. But consider the effect of a loving glance sent to you. Do you not feel that warm embrace of love? Contrast that to one filled with anger and pain. Both of these actions send equal and opposite energy to you.

Consider the difference when you see someone as whole and already healed rather than broken. The thoughts you send either help raise the vibrational field surrounding another or support the lower vibration that has contributed to perceived negativity and stunted growth.

Dear One, see your world, your fellow travelers, as whole and moving forward in grace and love. Send loving, supportive thoughts rather than contributing to any negative views of the person or situation. This is not to say that you should not take action that will help others to see the world in a similar light. But can you act in a loving fashion, rather than allowing yourself to contribute to stunted growth?

The power of love, the power of working with positive energetic vibration is greater than you could ever imagine. Take action, if you feel called to do so, but do it in the spirit of love rather than fear or anger. The most powerful action you can take is to send love to all concerned while seeing the person or situation already healed.

Dear One, sit today for a moment and consciously send out love with each breath that you take. If you find yourself unable to sleep, begin to send love out to the world with each breath. When faced with a volatile situation, send love rather than escalating the situation with anger or fear. This can be used in all aspects of your life. And as you begin to practice this meditation, it will become second-nature to you.

For Dear One, you are filled with love. This is who you are.

Allow your true self to emerge with calm and steady breaths sending love out to all.

Trust the power of this.

Trust your own power, for it is greater than you realize.

Dear One With All of Thee.
