Pay Attention

To your dreams

To what is around you.

See, really see, the faces of others

And be aware of

The delights of nature

All around you.

Dear One, allow your senses to heighten as you continue to grow within this physical frame of yours. Dampen the mind and allow yourself to feel, to see, to smell and taste, to hear what is occurring around you. Include the sixth sense, that of intuition, as well.

The mind, though a valuable tool on this physical journey, has overpowered the rest of your physical form. And by doing so, it has prevented you from experiencing the many delights provided to you on this physical journey.

So many of you move quickly past exquisite bouquets for the senses. You miss these delights because you are held captive by your mind. Living either in the past or the future. Can you become more aware of what is occurring around you? For while your mind tells you all is serious and oppressive, the world around you is blooming with joy and beauty.

When you interact with others, do you see, really see them? Or are you wondering, what do they think of me? Are you already composing your response to them before they even finish speaking? Do you view their physical appearance critically or with compassion and reverence? Those facial lines, that gray hair, that limp. Are these perceived imperfections or badges of resilience and courage for weathering many storms during their lives?

The mind was designed to be used for navigating this world, solving problems to preserve your lives during times of duress. But throughout your evolution, it has morphed into a vehicle of critical judgment against others, those unlike you. When in truth, the diversity among life here upon this plane is one of the greatest gifts you have been given.

Why would you wish to remain stagnant among those who think, live and believe the same as you when there is a plethora of diversity available to you? Yes, there is comfort in similarities. But is there growth? And does not the repetition of sameness dull the senses, as your mind assumes you know and understand what lies before you.

Is this not a learned arrogance of the mind enhanced by not really seeing and experiencing what is around you? Dear One, it is time to shake your world awake, to break those bindings that have held you captive for so long. Has this brief interlude of solitude been enough to open your eyes to the world around you? Can you approach re-entry with a fresh outlook, seeing the details always there but missed by your hurried pace in the past?

What delights do you experience every day? Can you keep a daily list to remind yourself of the simple pleasures of your life? What lessons can others teach you about yourself? What knowledge can they pass onto you if only you would pay attention to their entirety of being? What you may previously have judged as a flaw may suddenly reappear to you as a strength and teachable moment for you.

Dear One, dampen your mind and humble yourself before others as you see them for the divine beings they are. Make no comparisons, either positive or negative, between yourself and others. For you also are a divine being filled with strength and power. Reflect upon how you have used or perhaps not used that power in service for the highest good.

Once again, we tell you that each of you has been given the most perfect gift and placed in the most perfect situation to use that gift in service. If you struggle with naming that gift, just consider what comes easiest to you. For so often you think that if it is easy for you, then it is easy for everyone else. This is not always the case, Dear One.

During this time of great change and growth allow your senses to recalibrate to experiencing this physical world in the most beautiful way possible. And allow your intuition to become more fine-tuned to the unseen world as it guides you forward with grace.

Rest. Do not overtax this physical frame. Rethink what is absolutely necessary for you in this lifetime experience. For it may not require as much or what you thought so essential in the past. Remember you are breaking free of the chrysalis that has allowed your wings to develop. The time is coming for you to emerge, spread those wings and soar above the pettiness of the past.

This new way of being requires strength, courage and faith. All of which you have. The result will be a wave of personal growth filled with joy and gratitude. It is time, Dear One.

Take the leap forward

With courage and compassion.

You are more than capable.

You were born to do this.

Divinity expanding within the physical form.

How wondrous!

We applaud you for reaching this part of your journey.

The possibilities are endless.

You can do this.

Dearest One With All of Thee…………

These were my daily delights this week:

  • Frogs in my driveway culvert (I added more water since we haven’t had rain in awhile and I didn’t want them to lose their aquatic home)
  •  A toad sleeping in a six-pack of basil I got to plant in my garden (I removed the basil @ night when the toad was out and about and left the soil in the six-pack for him.)
  • A fawn left alone in my blueberry bushes for safe-keeping while mom went off to feed (until my dog discovered it and chased the poor thing into the woods.)
