What do you want?

Do you know what you really want? What would you do if you received it? Would you sing with joy and embrace the gift? Or would you shudder and say you are not worthy or not yet ready to receive it? What do you really want?

Are you clear in your intentions when you think about what you want? Or do you waver back and forth unsure of the details of your desires? Are you certain that you do not have misplaced longings?

Sometimes your desires are couched in terms or images that are not correct. You say you long for a certain thing, but if you really think about it, you are unsure if that will satisfy your cravings. Think of how often your physical body is hungry and yet nothing you eat seems to satisfy. Is it not well known that when some are depressed or lonely, they eat to fill the void? But the cravings are not satisfied in this physical manner. For the cravings are for the feelings of love, connection, and attachment and not really for food. Those are misplaced longings.

Can you be honest with yourself about what it is that you truly want? Follow through on the image in your mind and see what you do when you receive what you desire. Are you able to move forward using that new-found gift for the betterment of your life and perhaps the lives of others? Or are you unable to continue with the dream because fear and uncertainty have moved into the picture?

As you begin to move forward, you will notice that what you desire is more easily attainable…however strange that may seem to you. You will notice that the thoughts that continue to reside in your mind are suddenly manifested in the physical world. Because as you begin to walk the path back to the Source, your thoughts, your words become more powerful and are more likely to become a reality. Your calls go out into the ethers to bring back what you say it is that you desire.

Do not hesitate to believe this, for it will happen. But be prepared to receive that for which you ask. That is how it works in the world. If you do not receive it as you expected, then think of how you projected your desire out into the ethers. Be clear in your intent and your desire in order to receive exactly what you want.

Be responsible, as you begin to walk this path, in what you desire and how you ask for it. It is only a matter of time before it arrives on your doorstep, invitation in hand, waiting to be welcomed into your life.

Understand the power that is yours. Accept that power, be not afraid of it and use it wisely and for the highest good of all. Remember that your innate power does not take away from another’s power. You each have your own individual gifts and when you join each other to combine those gifts—you can change the world. Imagine the power in that.

And begin to change the world.
You will always have our help and support.

A thoughtful and inspiring post. But be prepared to receive that for which you ask – I think you are very right in this. Things starts to happen as a result of our thoughts and deeply felt desires.

We all have experienced longing. But I think often we are not even sure of what we are longing for. That’s when we become disappointed in what we receive. I know that I’ve been there. Thank you for your comment, Otto.
